MAC Retro Matte Lipstick ALL FIRED UP Review

09:06

Hey everyone,

Back with some more makeup, from the MAC retro matte range. This lipstick always called out to me, but somehow I could not pick it up until last month due to the no availability because everyone seems to be so obsessed with it and now that I own my tube of it, I totally justify the hype !

MAC RETRO MATTE LIPSTICK ALL FIRED UP .

PRICE : 1450 INR for 3gm.

I'm madly in love with this lipstick, its a bright fuschia matte, for me its between red and pink somewhere like a watermelon colour. It goes great with a smokey eye or simply a no makeup look, It brightens up my face.

The packaging is the usual classy MAC black bullet case with the silver lining on it, that comes in a black cardboard box with the details mentioned on it.

All fired up is a beautiful colour that has a retro matte finish, this means that its drier than matte and a bit difficult to apply. you certainly need to prep the lips beforehand for a flawless lipstick application.

The lasting power of this lipstick is pretty amazing, it can last up to 8 hours without any touch up because this lipstick is highly pigmented and covers even the more pigmented lips. It does not easily transfer on the cups or the spoons while eating or drinking that is the main reason that I love this lipstick a lot. The shade is similar to Relentlessly Red but that is more of a coral pink with neon undertones where as All fired up is a bright fuchsia pink. The only difference are the undertones.

I personally feel that All fired up is better than Relentlessly red because of the lasting power and colour of course but relentlessly red also looks gorgeous and its the best to wear on occasions.

I would highly recommend this lipstick. Absolutely divine ! If you like your reds a bit bluish and berry in colour, try this lipstick !

LOVE,
Afreen :)
