Here is a write up that is close to my heart.

                                                            Diary of an injured soul

She sipped the last of her wine and stood upright.
"I am a monster, devouring every part of the souls of my loved ones by being who I am. I need to go. " She said taking a step forward in trying to reach the edge of the terrace.

"You are liberating their souls of depravity. You leave today and it settles. What once could be your safe haven, would turn into a synagogue of desolation." She replied to her with hope in her eyes.

"But I tried!", she said. "Not enough", she replied.
"What more could I do to make them accept me?" , She said. "Accept yourself." She replied. She looked at the sky full of stars, breathed easy, took a step back and reached for her hand. That night her mind and heart lay hand in hand and she coalesced.

We are used to turning something dark into something poetic. In our hearts we all find ourselves doing that.
Change is coming. Love is coming. Soon a day will come when this world will heal and accept the wave of love.
I, You, He, She, They equals to We.

On June 28, 1969, the Stonewall Inn was raided by the New York City police. A common police practice at the time for bars frequented by the LGBTQ community. But that night, instead of giving in, a group of brave individuals stood up. What followed were five nights of protests for LGBTQ rights, setting in motion the next 50 years of Pride. After that, LGBTQ rights’ organizations began to spring up across the US and around the world. On June 27 and 28, 1970, the first Pride parades commemorating Stonewall took place in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago.

There are various events which are planned this year. Mumbai Pride March is one of the biggest gay pride marches in India. Also, this will be the first ever Mumbai Pride March after the landmark judgement by Supreme Court that decriminalised homosexuality. This year the theme of the Queer Azaadi Mumbai Pride 2019 is #PrideforAll. The LGBTQ community can celebrate who they are without being criminalised and that is how it is going to be for eternity because Love Always Wins.

All in all, I wanted to let you all know that equality, love and justice can heal the world.  And I know that the world has been a tough place for a lot of us but united with love we can make this world a better place even with the art of makeup!
